What we do:

The Clear Mind Open Heart (CMOH) team have been developing and delivering Mindfulness Programs for over 10 years. All courses are taught by Dr Patrick Jones, founder of CMOH. The Mindfulness-based Quality of Life and Wellbeing Program (MQW) program was developed and tested by Dr Jones, an academic in the field of psychology with a background in clinical psychology.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is… “paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally” (Kabat Zinn, 1994, p. 4). Originating as part of Buddhist mind training to develop full human potential, Mindfulness programs have been developed in the west to assist in physical and mental wellbeing.

Why Practice Mindfulness?

Mindfulness programs are ideal for people wanting to be more present in their daily life, bring mindful awareness into their relationship to others as well as enhance their work life and leisure time. Mindfulness skills have also been scientifically proven to assist with reducing stress, anxiety, and depression.

Benefits:

  1. Increased Relaxation and Inner Wellbeing.
  2. A more skilful relationship to Pleasant and Unpleasant experiences.
  3. Enhanced Quality of Life through mindful attention and reflection
